 The
HP TouchSmart IQ775 is a full-featured desktop computer with an integrated 19"
widescreen LCD monitor, great for use in the family room or even the kitchen.
Designed for ease of use, its flat panel monitor is touch-enabled, allowing you
to access information and entertainment with your fingertip. (2 TouchSmart
applications, HP SmartCenter and HP SmartCalendar, are included.) The TouchSmart
IQ775 is powered by AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core mobile technology, letting you
run multiple applications at once, and has a generous 2GB memory, enormous 500GB
hard drive and numerous multimedia features.
In addition to a 10/100 wired network port, it also has wireless 802.11b/g
connectivity, for network access without the hassle of cables. It also supports
Bluetooth, for short-range (up to 30') wireless access to other
Bluetooth-enabled devices.
The 19" widescreen monitor features 1440 x 900 native resolution and fast 5ms
response time, with 300 cd/m2 brightness, 850:1 contrast ratio and 16:10 aspect
ratio. Its height and tilt can be adjusted.
A built-in TV tuner lets you view live television — even high-definition (HD)
signals — and record it with the Personal Video Recorder (PVR). An integrated
webcam with microphone lets you chat online.
The LightScribe™ SuperMulti DVD drive lets you burn and play DVDs and CDs,
including DVD±R/RW and Double Layer DVD±R media, with a capacity of 8.5GB per
disc. The LightScribe feature allows high-quality laser-etched disc labeling
(text and images) using the same drive. After burning content, just flip the
disc over in the drive and burn the label. (LightScribe media required, sold
separately.)
